How We Evaluate Charities

Before you or your company makes an investment in an organization, Dexterity Consulting reviews the agency on the following:

  • Funding Sustainability
  • Governance Structures
  • Community Track-record (program delivery, etc.)
  • Community Economic Development protocols

Sources that we draw upon include public documents from the CRA and IRS, Charity Navigator, Charity Intelligence, Guidestar, The Fraser Institute, Giving USA, AFP, Imagine Canada, etc.  As well, every attempt is made to meet with the Executive Director, members of the Board and other volunteers.
